READ MORE ▸1 - 5 March 2024
A student conference is an event organized by and for students. The purpose of a student conference is to provide a platform for students to present their work, talents, projects, and ideas to a wider audience, which includes peers and teachers from other countries.
Student conferences can cover a wide range of topics such as science, technology, engineering, arts, humanities, social sciences, and more.
On ELEMASYN’s initiative, International Student Conferences are held every year with the Cultural Capitals of Europe as their central axis.
This is a great educational activity, which gives children the opportunity for experiential learning. In addition, through the preparation of their work, children have the opportunity to understand the concept of research, but also of teamwork.
The 3rd International Student Conference will be held in March 2024 in Prague.
Prague, also known as “the golden city”, was one of the Cultural Capitals of Europe in 2000, and not without reason!
Through the theme of the Conference, the children will discover Prague’s rich culture, natural beauty, and great scientists who worked and lived there.
The 3rd International Student Conference will take place in Prague March 1 - 5, 2024. Only few seats are available. Please contact us if you wish to participate, or join our Waiting List.
The 3rd International Student Conference will be held in March 2024. The date and Booking link will be announced by 20 May 2023. Sign up for updates to ensure your participation!
International Student Conferences are primarily addressed to students, but they can also be beneficial for teachers.
The primary audience of student conferences is, of course, students themselves. International Student Conferences are highly important for several reasons, and they play a crucial role in the overall academic and personal development of students.
Teachers can also reap numerous benefits from participating in student conferences. Participating in a student conference allows teachers to stay updated with the latest developments and trends in their field of expertise. They can attend presentations, workshops, and discussions led by fellow educators and researchers, which enhances their knowledge and teaching skills.
Teachers serve as mentors to students presenting at the conference, helping them prepare for their presentations, and providing guidance throughout the process. Mentorship experiences can be rewarding for both teachers and students. Additionally, they gain visibility in the academic community. This exposure can enhance their reputation as dedicated educators and researchers, potentially leading to future career opportunities.
Overall, participating in student conferences empowers teachers to grow professionally, engage with their discipline, and contribute to their students’ academic success. It supports a culture of continuous learning and academic development within the teaching community.

More than 2,500 students took part in the Student Conference 2023.
Schools from Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Turkey participated in the Conference.

In the 2nd International Student Conference, the European Parliament was placed as an Institutional Partner and took place under its auspices. In addition, it was placed under the auspices of the Municipality of Florence, the Holy Metropolis of Italy and the Exarchate of Southern Europe, and the Greek Consulate in Florence.
The purpose of the Conference was to familiarize Greek and European students with the institution of the Cultural Capital of Europe and at the same time raise their awareness of the huge issue of the Climate Crisis.
At the Conference, which lasted 5 days, from 16 to 20 March 2023, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 2,500 students from all over Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Italy and admiring their work.
The 2nd Panhellenic Student Competition was held in 2022, on the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe.
The excellent work of the 150 students who participated, was proof that the children are “thirsty” for this kind of activities. The Competition allowed them to express their personality, develop and show their talent but also create beyond strict norms. Due to the exceptional participation, ELEMASYN decided not to give 3 awards, but 4!
On March 15, 2020, the beginning of the pandemic found us and the participants at the door of the 1st International Student Conference.
The pandemic did not allow us to travel, but that did not discourage us or the participants! 47 schools and 635 students from Greece, Cyprus and Istanbul, sent their works, received the commemorative material and all together, we worked hard to prepare the Proceedings of the 1st Conference.
The following International Student Conference will be held in 2023.
